The Venue
Holiday Hill Day Camp
Welcome to camp!
Holiday Hill is a 25 acre retreat in Mansfield, CT that turns into the perfect wedding venue in the off season. Our ceremony will take place in the beautiful post and beam barn with its cathedral-like ceiling and warm wood details. Afterward guests will head to the heated reception tent just a short walk away to celebrate with dinner and dancing.

Parking & Transportation:
Parking will be available on-site. There will be signage and staff to help guide you. However, transportation will not be provided. Please plan accordingly and arrange a carpool or uber if needed.
Please plan on arriving at 3:30 pm to give yourself time to find a seat before the ceremony begins at 4:00.
Attire:
The dress code is semi-formal. For men, we suggest a suit, blazer, or button down with pants. For women, a dress, jumpsuit, or dressy separates would all work.
The venue is an outdoor campground property with lots of grass and rocky paths. We recommend that ladies swap out the stilettos for strappy sandals or short block heels.
Temperatures are expected to be around 60 degrees during the day and 40 degrees at night. Although the reception tent is heated, you will occassionally have to walk outside. Consider layering to stay warm in the evening.
We invite you to join us in wearing our wedding colors, which include dark jewel tones like ruby, violet, and deep sapphire, but any fall color will do! For photos, we ask that you avoid extremely vibrant colors. Our bridesmaids will be wearing emerald, and our groomsmen will be wearing black and dark sapphire.
Unplugged Ceremony:
We have hired a professional photographer to capture our special day and ask that you do not use your cell phones during the ceremony. However, you are more than welcome to take photos and videos of the rest of the night! Thank you for respecting our wishes and staying unplugged for our special moment.
Mocktail Hour:
We are hosting a dry wedding! Although there will be no bar, there will still be plenty of delicious drinks on us. We encourage you to take full advantage of our drink cart and try our custom mocktails.
Accessibility:
For guests in need of assistance, there will be a golf cart available to help make the trip from the parking lot to the barn easy and accessible.

We saved you a room
We have reserved 10 rooms at the Best Western in Manchester for the nights of October 24 and 25 at a discounted rate of $125 per night. Guests are welcome to book one or both nights, depending on their plans. Rooms in the block are available as standard king or standard double queen only; suites are not included in the discounted rate. To secure the discount, use the button below or call the hotel directly and request the Barth Wedding Block. Reservations must be made by October 4 to receive the group rate. After that date, availability cannot be guaranteed and standard pricing will apply.

Can I bring a plus one?
Although we would love to offer a plus one to all guests, we have a strict guest list to stay on budget and meet our venue restrictions. We appreciate your understanding and can’t wait to celebrate with you.
Are kids allowed?
We want you to be able to kick back, relax, and celebrate with us, which is why we have decided to have an adults-only event. We appreciate you making arrangements to leave the kids at the home.

When and where do I RSVP?
Please RSVP through the form on our website by September 20th, 2025. You are welcome to RSVP before this date!

Can I smoke on the property?
The venue has requested no smoking inside the tent and near any structures. However, you are welcome to smoke 30ft away from any building or structure, and in the parking lot just outside of the venue.
What happens after the ceremony?
After we say “I do,” we welcome you to join us for social hour where we will serve soft drinks, mocktails, and light hors d’oeuvres. We will take our seats for dinner at 5:30.
What time does the reception end?
The reception will end at 10:00 pm sharp due to our venues policy.
